Adams County is home to many artists. Many of these artists capture the history of the Battle, the 1863 civilians, the soldiers and the famous battle sites. This is the story of three of those artists: Wendy Allen, Dale Gallon and Charles Joyce. There is a common passion for their work, the history and connecting the people of today with the stories of our past. In the early 1900s, the Hanover Shoe Stables began, racing horses throughout Pennsylvania. Today, the farm boasts 345 broodmares, 9 stallions, and in 2018, will sell nearly 150 yearlings. This story is about these horses, and those that have come before them. It is about the farms and the family.
