Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum & Candy Emporium has been a unique Gettysburg area attraction since 1975. Step inside and you’ll see elephant figurines, art and household goods in every size, substance, shape and color, including four that are life-sized. Also discover delicious homemade fudge, turtles, pecan pralines and other treats, plus tons of your favorite candy from yesteryear to today. Fresh roasted jumbo peanuts, our own cinnamon glazed nuts and delicious homemade peanut butter will get your mouth watering. We have unique gifts for everyone on your list. Whimsical gardens complete with an enchanted forest, a talking elephant and a charming teapot museum top it all off for an experience the whole family will love!

You’ll Never Forget Our Elephants!

The largest collection of its kind in the world, our museum holds more than 12,000 elephant figurines from across the globe. See our pachyderms inside, or venture outside to our whimsical gardens where life-size elephant statues stand tall. Miss Ellie, our oldest outdoor elephant may even talk to you. There are plenty of unique elephants in our gift shop to take home.

Be A Kid in A Candy Store

Be a kid in a candy store with more than 1,200 varieties of your favorites, including more than 400 candy bars from around the world and a wide selection of fine chocolates. Be sure to have a taste of some of our more than 200 flavors of creamy homemade fudge. Then see our massive display of PEZ, one of the largest on the East Coast, contained in a real truck that is attached to the building.

Make Time for a Picnic

A visit to Mister Ed’s is not complete without strolling our gardens, full of whimsy and wonder. Whether you are an avid gardener interested in rare plant varieties, or love an adventure, our gardens are open year-round. Don’t miss a stop at Miss Pat’s Teapot Museum, where you’ll find a giant teapot filled with more than 200 smaller ones. Climb the Stairs to Nowhere, get your picture taken in front of our goldfish pond and get lost in our Enchanted Forest. Picnickers are always welcome.

A Reputation for Community Service

We hold several FREE events for children, including an Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Party, S’more Summer Please Back to School Party, Great Pumpkin Party and Santa Party. Plus our successful fudge fundraisers help nonprofit groups reach their goals.

We Look Forward to Your Visit!

Third-generation owners Isaac and Nicole Bucher invite you to the Adams County countryside, just 15 minutes west of Gettysburg, to experience a truly unique experience you’ll never forget.
