Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
To put it simply, Jack's Hard Cider uses good fruit to get a good product. Located just eight miles west of historic Gettysburg, we feature an assortment of red and white wines and hard ciders. Once an apple orchard, our family incorporated grape vines and we use the fruit in our wines and ciders. Our underground production facility produces an assortment of wines and ciders ranging from sweet to dry with additional seasonal flavors added.
Located in the fruit belt of Adams County, Jack's Hard Cider offers a beautiful view from our 360-degree glass-enclosed tasting room. Both indoor and outdoor seating allow you to overlook 170 acres of beautiful farmland in the Adams County countryside. Wine and cider tastings are held daily and special events often feature live music, dancing and catered food. Local beers are also available on tap. Our beautiful location hosts events such as the Hard Cider Run and the Pennsylvania Cider Fest each June.
