Providing visits to eight downtown Gettysburg churches featuring hospital scenes in those churches, stories about heroic civilian nurses, the wounded and dying and the battle and its aftermath.
Programs every Wednesday evening, mid-June through August, alternating two tour patterns of four churches each week. (See website listed below for names of East-side, West-side churches.)
Meet in front of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, 208 Baltimore Street, free parking is available at the rear of church. The tours depart at 6 pm. No reservations required but arrive 15 minutes early to purchase tickets. We accept cash or checks (we do not accept credit cards). Park free behind the church. Tours are approximately 120 minutes in duration. Tours go Rain or Shine.
