Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
Grab your passport and trail map and collect stamps as you treat your palate to the wines, ciders, spirts and craft brews found in Gettysburg’s downtown tasting rooms and throughout the Adams County countryside. Our bountiful orchards, vineyards and farmlands produce flavorful fruits, hops and grains that we turn into amazing craft beverages for your enjoyment.
With the collection of unique stamps from official Adams County Pour Tour partners, you will be eligible to collect a prize from any of our 15 participating partners. Please check our website or trail map for participating partners. Prizes will be given for 5, 12 and 20 stamps. Participating locations will stamp and date your passport upon providing you with the prize. Once completed, our Pour Tour travelers will receive an official celebratory award and will be able to keep their passport complete with tasting notes. Passports and trail maps are free of charge and can be picked up at the Destination Gettysburg office (571 West Middle Street, Gettysburg), at official Adams County Pour Tour stops or can be requested online.
