With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
The Farnsworth House is the only Civil War period dining experience in Gettysburg. Period fare served by period-dressed servers in our historic inn with over 100 bullet holes in the exterior south wall. Some specialties include game pie, peanut soup, spoon bread and pumpkin fritters, and steak and seafood dishes. Our plated meals, as well as our buffets, offer a wide variety of period dishes and popular buffet favorites. Another unique feature of hosting your special event here at the Farnsworth House is that you can add a history or ghost presentation to your dining experience. Dinner theater is a great way to have a hands on, memorable experience. Our Main Dining Room is a popular place for dinners and or group meetings due to this rich history that it possesses. Our Tavern is popular for larger groups as well as gatherings that wish to have a more casual atmosphere. Lastly, our Civil War Camp is great for an interactive experience as well as the perfect place for school groups. Whether you dine in our Main dining room, Tavern, or Civil War Camp, you are sure to leave satisfied, educated, and with an experience that you will never forget.
