Sugaring, the art of making maple syrup, has been practiced for thousands of years. The tradition began in the Northeast United States centuries ago with the Native Americans and colonists. People of all ages are invited to see this tradition brought to life by Strawberry Hill naturalists. You will learn how trees are tapped, view sap-collecting methods past and present, and see the boiling process that produces delicious maple syrup.
The festival features a delicious pancake breakfast buffet, PA maple syrup, tree to table tours and family-friendly activities.
