Family Cooking Class

In each of our family cooking classes you will make recipes, take away yummy food, and learn cooking tidbits that will impress young and old alike. 

Apple Dumplings, January 11: Back by popular request, apple dumplings are warming to the soul year round! Join us and learn how to make the most famous baked apple dish in Pennsylvania: Apple Dumplings!
S'mores, February 1: Discover s’mores like you have never had them before! Make your own graham crackers from scratch to start a delicious foundation for your creation then learn and make some fun and deliciously wonderful s’more fixings – above and beyond your traditional chocolate bar and marshmallow. You will leave the class with all you need to have a fun family evening of stacking and snacking s’mores at home.
Pie, March 14: Celebrate Pi Day in a delicious family way with figuring how to divide your pie as the only math equation required! The whole family will enjoy the fruit of this labor as you make your own mini apple pies from scratch! 

These classes are open to ALL ages! To participate without a grownup, you must be at least 8 years old and up. We hope to see everyone: moms with preschoolers; dads connecting with daughters; teens with their friends; and adults looking to not make a mess in their kitchen! If you register by yourself, you may be paired up with a new friend!
