Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
In their 10th anniversary season, “If Music Be the Food…” continues to raise awareness and support for those experiencing food instability through the sharing of great music. All participants in every aspect of this endeavor volunteer their services and pay their own costs, allowing all proceeds to go directly to the efforts of the Gettysburg Community Soup Kitchen.
Audience members are invited to contribute a nonperishable food item or monetary donation as the price of admission. The concert will be held in Gettysburg College's Paul Recital Hall in Schmucker Hall.
