Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
We've decided to lean into the summer heat and go Cuban. Join us for a six course pairing dinner and cigar demonstration at Mason Dixon Distillery. Click here to order tickets.
Dave Corradetti of Prominencia Cigar will be joining us again and conducting hand rolling cigar demonstrations as well as bringing two oversized cigars (El Chancho) that will be rolled with a pig tail cap. The wrappers will be EMS and Maduro. Dave has been a part of the premium cigar industry for over twelve years and has been blending cigars for the past eight years. He began rolling cigars four years ago when he learned the art of rolling from a master Cuban blender/roller in York, PA who came to the area from Havana and left the Cohiba factory to start over in America.
Cameron, our chef here at Mason Dixon Distillery, loves to challenge himself so he has decided to up the ante and go with six food courses for the event that are all Cuban inspired.
Our cocktail lineup has yet to be finalized but we have been working on infusing rum with fresh pineapple and we will most likely be dumping and bottling an experimental barrel of rum for the event.
This event will be capped at 50 people, there will not be assigned seating and you will most likely get seated at a table with strangers (by the end of the evening you will leave as friends). We are selling the tickets for $105 per person, that price includes gratuity for your server and bartender. (You are always welcome to leave them more). It includes taxes, but does not include EventBrite service fees.
We will all be outside under our giant tent. It will most likely be hot, hence the late start and Cuban theme. If it rains, the courtyard floor may become wet as the rain drains away but we will not get rained on. Smoking inside the building is never permitted, smoking in the tent is only allowed for special events like this one.
The event includes:
