Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
In August 20, 1868, the Court of Quarter Sessions in Gettysburg granted the petition of the citizens of York Springs to incorporate as the Borough of York Springs. We celebrate that milestone in our community’s history through York Springs Community Day.
Community support for last year’s 150th Celebration was overwhelming and we’re looking forward to another great day of fellowship, fun, food, games and craft and yard sales at many different locations all over York Springs. Check out our website for a full calendar of events.
Parking available at the York Springs Fire Company Grounds. Handicapped parking available at Griest Park and Lions Park.
