Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
Join us for the Backyard BBQ Series on Saturday, August 24th. Performing live will be the Nick Staver Band, a pleasing blend of blues and roots that support an iconic vocal style. The Nick Staver Band delivers humble servings of Otis Redding and Ray Charles with a hint of Ray LaMontagne and Martin Sexton while occasionally citing a broken heart lashing of a Black Crowes ballad.
A food truck will be onsite from 2-5pm serving jumbo gourmet hot dogs loaded with toppings. Our Terrace Bistro will also be open from 11am-5pm serving wood-fired pizzas and appetizers, but guests are always welcome to bring their own food and snacks. Lawn and table games will be available for guests to enjoy with a bottle of our award-winning wines and locally crafted beers.
