Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
Many artists enjoy depicting animals in their work, and if there's one thing many animals have in common, it's fur! But fur comes in many versions, from the smooth hair of a horse, to the dense fur of a lion's mane, to the thick, soft fur of a Persian cat. In this 2-day workshop, instructor Amy Lindenberger and students will use a variety of colored pencil techniques to create several small swatches of different types of fur, then --as time permits-- students may choose one type to render as a more complete animal study.
Supply list available at the gallery's front desk and via our "Learning at Art Downtown" page on our website, underneath this workshop's information.
Ages 18+. Minimum 4/Maximum 10 Students.
