After Elizabeth Ann Seton died in 1821, Catherine left home, heartbroken by her mother's death. The Sisters in Emmitsburg carried on, serving others and continuing Mother Seton's legacy that lives on today.
On this living history tour, you'll go back to 1842 with a guide and see Catherine and other beloved friends as you explore our historic site. From them, you'll learn about the inspirational life of Elizabeth Ann Seton, the obstacles she encountered, and how her faith helped her overcome her struggles.
The tour is available on Sundays from June 2 through August 18 with tour times between 12:15-4:15pm as well as Wednesdays from June 5 through August 21 with tour times between 11:30am-2pm.
