Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
We welcome everyone to join us as we celebrate Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton's birthday on August 25 at 1:30pm Mass, as well as afterward on our grounds with fun activities for kids of all ages! Mass will include a Backpack Blessing for all students in attendance. For the Blessing, students may bring a backpack or any other item used in their studies-a book bag, basket, tablet or anything else. After Mass around 2:30pm, we'll have free refreshments and a variety of activities like games, a magician, silhouette artist and face-painting.
