The Supertones are excited to make their debut appearance in Gettysburg, PA at a great venue with some good friends and musicians. The Supertones simply don’t have a place in today’s music. Their approach to songwriting and performance recalls a day when solid, simple groove and melodic pop sensibility held more value than flash and formula, when feel meant more than perfection, when thunderous drums and pounding bass were the true measure of excitement in a live band, when guitar solos were mandatory, the lyrics were understood, and just a touch of self-indulgent free-form jam never hurt anyone. This certainly doesn’t sound like today, but it is. It’s The Supertones, and it’s now. Dig it.
