June 5: The Longest Day
A star-studded cast relives the sacrifice and struggle of the June 6, 1944 D-Day Landing at Normandy. Featuring John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, Richard Burton, Sean Connery and Henry Fonda.

June 26: The Wizard of Oz
“Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore” and only a magical quest and help from new friends can guide Dorothy back “somewhere over the rainbow.”

July 3: Hail the Conquering Hero
Preston Sturges’ hilarious madcap comedy about a WWII soldier with a 4-F discharge whose hometown mistakenly believes he’s a returning hero. Starring Eddie Bracken and William Demarest.

July 10: Smokey and the Bandit
The Bandit and his crew must run a tractor trailer full of beer across state lines without getting nabbed by Sheriff Buford T. Justice. Starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason.

July 24: The Exorcist
A mother seeks the help of two priests after her teenage daughter is possessed by a demon in this horror classic. Starring Linda Blair, Ellen Burstyn and Max von Syndon.

July 31: When Harry Met Sally
Friends Harry Burns and Sally Albright wonder if men and women can truly be “just friends.” Starring Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan and Carrie Fisher.

August 7: Unforgiven
A retired gunslinger takes one last job along with his old partner in this Oscar-winning Western. Starring Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman.

August 14: Beetlejuice
Ghostly newlyweds enlist the help of a bizarre veteran scaremaster to evict insufferable yuppies from their old home. Starring Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder.

August 21: Rear Window
Alfred Hitchcock directs this thriller about a wheelchair-bound photographer (Jimmy Stewart) convinced one of his neighbors is a murderer.

August 28: Field of Dreams 
“If you build it, they will come” to the final night of the Majestic Theater’s 13thsummer of Wednesday night classic movies.
