Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
The Adams Rescue Mission’s Upcycled Art Show and Silent Auction features recycled art from local crafters and artists. The Show is held at the Agape House and will run April 24-May1. All items will be up for bid and guests of the show can vote for their favorite pieces, earning the top artists cash prizes. All proceeds support the work of the Adams Rescue Mission, feeding and housing the homeless.
Serving God by serving others since 1972! The Adams Rescue Mission exists to proclaim the passion of Jesus toward the hungry, homeless, abused, and addicted; to accelerate recovery and restoration.
