Since 2013, History Gettysburg-Adams County (HGAC) has offered matching grants for the direct physical preservation of eleven barns on its Barn Registry. HGAC's Barn Preservation Specialist, David Maclay, a timber framer and restoration carpenter, will describe the design and execution of these grant projects, as well as address common structural and maintenance issues. Maclay will also detail accomplishments of several recipients of the Annual HGAC Barn Preservation Award.
