July 13, 11 am - 3 pm: Christmas in July - Stop downtown for Christmas in July and participate in the Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt to help us find Marty the Main Street Elf! Search for clues and answer riddles at businesses downtown to help us find where he’s been hiding. We hope to see you then!
August 10, 11 am - 3 pm: Main Street Mini-Golf - Downtown merchants have teamed up to create one-of-a-kind mini-golf holes in their businesses. We invite you to participate in a mini-golf tournament like you have never seen! Golfers will spend the afternoon enjoying a walk through downtown, visiting participating businesses offering specials and playing some of the most unique mini-golf holes in the area. We hope you’ll join us for an event you’ll never FORE-get!
September 14, 9 am - 4 pm: ArtsFest ft. Chalk It Up - We invite you to participate in our new art-centered event called ArtsFest, featuring the Chalk It Up competition. ArtsFest will feature art vendors selling their works, live art, as well as interactive and community art. Artists of all ages are invited to come to Downtown Hanover to participate in an event that celebrates local artists! Participants of the Chalk It Up event will create their own works of art on sidewalk slabs for all to see. Judges will choose a favorite and prizes will be awarded to the winner. October 11, 6 - 9 pm: Spooky Spirits - Come downtown for Main Street Hanover’s Halloween-themed Sip & Stroll event! On Friday evening, stroll downtown wearing your best Halloween costume, visiting different businesses and tasting a variety of beer, cider and wine. Participating businesses will be judging ticketholders’ costumes throughout the night and the best costume from the event will receive a prize! Enjoy a spooky night for adults only and help us celebrate Halloween in downtown! Ticket information to come. This is not a free event. More info here.
November 9, 8 am - 5 pm: Thankful for the Downtown - In thanks for your support throughout the year, local businesses will be holding customer appreciation promotions and activities. We hope you’ll join us for a day of thankfulness in Downtown Hanover! Time will be dependent upon individual business hours.
December 14, 1 - 4 pm: Cookie Stroll - Come celebrate the holidays with cookies and shopping in downtown Hanover! Visit each of our participating downtown businesses for a cookie sample. While you’re there, check out their amazing merchandise just in time for the gift-giving season!
