Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
This four-week class will allow you to make a beautiful stained glass panel. Learn how to cut glass, lay out patterns, foil, solder and frame a panel. Complete with the application of patina and it will be ready to hang. All you will need to bring with you is a small box (a shoe box would be great), scissors, a small bottle (i.e. a prescription bottle with cap), two old rags and eye protection (glasses you can get from Home Depot which will fit over your glasses if you wear them, or will just protect your eyes).
Additional $35 supply fee will be collected at the first class (make check payable to Sallie Derr). Maximum 6 participants.
