On Christmas Eve 1863, the Mother of Jennie Wade, Mary, was still coping with the death of her 20-year-old daughter.
Tonight the spirit of Mary Wade has returned to her daughter’s home, the scene of that tragic death. Join us as she entertains you with stories of heroism and kindness during the historic battle intertwined with “Ghost Stories” of the house and holiday haunts of the era.
Follow her as she paces through the home and retraces the route through the house which the family took on July 3rd 1863 as the battle raged on outside.
This 75-minute special presentation will be presented every Saturday Night in December at 5 PM. The tour begins at the Jennie Wade House Museum Gift Shop to the rear of the house 548 Baltimore Street in Gettysburg
