Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
GCCA, Gettysburg’s premier classical concert series, opens its 75th concert season with Pianist Philip Thomson, a Canadian pianist who has specialized in Liszt. He exhibits not only the virtuosity which this repertoire calls for but also great poetic feeling. He commands a wide range of keyboard color and refinement of pianissimo tone. All of his recitals are touched by distinction.
Tickets are available at the door for $20. Children up to 18 years old and college students with ID are free. Join GCCA and attend all four season concerts for $50.
