Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
All are welcome to join us for the annual Pilgrimage for the Sea Services, where we honor Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the Patroness of Sea Services, and pay tribute to military personnel who’ve served in a division of the Sea Services: the U.S. Navy, Marines, Merchant Marines, Coast Guard and Public Health Service. Mass is at 3 pm. Active duty Navy servicemen and women may wear their summer whites. A complimentary dinner will be provided afterward. If you would like to attend, please contact Rob Judge by calling 301-447-6037 or email at Rob.Judge@setonshrine.org.
