Please join us for the Annual SGT MAC FOUNDATION’s National Wreath Project. We will meet at the Giant Food Store in Gettysburg at 8 a.m. on Friday, November 30th to tie the bows on over 14,000 holiday wreaths to be placed on graves at Soldiers' National Cemetery in Gettysburg and Quantico National Cemetery in VA. At 1 p.m. we will place over 1,600 wreaths on Veterans graves in the Gettysburg National Cemetery and on Saturday, December 1st we will meet at Quantico National Cemetery at 10 a.m. to place the remaining 12,400 wreaths. The wreaths will remain in place until mid-January for viewing. This event was inspired by the death of Gettysburg native Sgt Eric McColley and eight other Marines and Airmen that were killed in 2006 in a aerial collision of 2 – CH53E Marine helicopters off the coast of Djibouti, Africa. “By Remembering One – We Honor All”. Please join us for this tribute to our Veterans. Everyone of all ages is welcome.
