Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
After many years of being held off-site, the History Meets the Arts show is returning to its roots at Lord Nelson's Gallery proper in downtown Gettysburg and returning to its mid-April dates. This annual art show and sale will focus on historical art only by our core artists who have been represented at the gallery for many, many years. Painters, contemporary accoutrement makers and sculptors will show their latest works in an intimate setting at Lord Nelson's Gallery - coming full circle from where the show began. We look forward to seeing you in April!
