These are not guided historic rides; there will be a period musician on board to entertain as you slow down and enjoy the sites of town at the speed of history. Jeff Greenawalt is an actor, musician, and living historian. He believes that one of the best ways to connect with the people who lived at the time of the Civil War is to listen to the songs they sang. These songs express the very human emotions felt by our ancestors. He will perform some of the songs that were popular during the Civil War for you while you ride through Gettysburg on one of our carriages.
Rides normally leave between 5 and 7:30 pm from the Gettysburg Heritage Center. Tickets available online and in person at the Gettysburg Heritage Center.
