The 18th Annual Adams County Irish Festival at Gettysburg will be held rain or shine at Moose Park in Straban Township about 3½ miles east of Gettysburg. The festival offers family fun for everyone with Irish music all day, dancers, vendors of Irish goods, food and beverages, living history, Irish wolfhounds and more! Musical entertainment features Connla, Kilmaine Saints, Across the Pond, Irish Blessing, Gabriel Donahue, the 69thPennsylvania Irish Volunteers and a children’s show. Also, there will be performances by the Coyle School of Irish Dance plus a mini-lecture on “The Irish in the Civil War" by author Patricia Hopper Patteson.
Gates open at 9:30 am. Free parking. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Sorry, no coolers or pets.
The Festival is presented by Adams County Division 1 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and benefits the Hibernian Hunger Project to assist local hunger-relief organizations.
