You may have heard of the Timbers Farm, Trough Rock, the Devil’s Slipper, "CORA" the cannon, Hampton’s Battery rock, site of German POW camp and many other names like these but have you seen them? The morning PowerPoint program will show you places you can explore later on your own. The afternoon tour will take you to several places like these – off the beaten path but part of the fabric of Gettysburg.

The morning classroom lecture will begin at 9:00am. After lunch on your own, we will board the bus for the field walk. This moderate to strenuous tour will be short jaunts totaling about 1.5 miles and include the crossing of some fields and some up or down hills. This walk will take place rain or shine so dress accordingly - this includes sturdy foot gear.
