Living History

When history comes alive, it lives with you forever.

The best way to experience history is to watch it come alive in first person presentations and encampments. Whether you are hosting a group and are looking for a private presentation or interacting with living historians at events, meeting a famous general or even a common civilian will take you back 150 years.

Spring through fall, visitors are invited to walk through soldiers camps at local museums and on the grounds of the National Park to interact and watch demonstrations.

Experience ranger programs & walks, campfire programs, living history & events that assist in preserving & interpreting the Gettysburg Battle.
