Plan Your Gettysburg Trip

Spirit of Fall

Fall in Gettysburg is one of the best times of the year to visit. The weather starts to become crisp with temps in the 60s. The colors start to change from bright summer green to a mix of yellows, oranges and reds. Whether you are taking in the history on the battlefield or exploring the wineries and farm markets, your view is spectacular!

As fall arrives in Gettysburg, the landscape transforms into a breathtaking vista. Our orchards are brimming with apples ready to be harvested. The days are the perfect temperature for touring the battlefield on horseback or bike. A trip to through the corn maze gives you a rush as you wonder if you will find your way out. And the spirits of Gettysburg are at home with the holidays.

Gettysburg has been named one of the most haunted destinations in America. Nearly every paranormal television show has filmed here.  With dozens of ghost tours and paranormal investigations, why would you go anywhere else in October?
