Even if you don't remember receiving S&H green stamps at the gas station; eating comfort food at a diner; writing out a postcard; checking into a tourist cabin for the night; or going for a Sunday drive, you'll still love driving the historic Lincoln Highway. There are no tolls and it's always open. Experience interpretive exhibits, murals, pumps, and roadside giant sculptures. Great photo ops, scenery, and charming towns - it's Americana at its best.

The historic Lincoln Highway stretches from New York City to San Francisco. This one road changed America forever. It, along with the automobile, launched tourism and the related industries of gas, food, lodging and postcards. In Pennsylvania, we know much of it as Route 30. But, a special 200-mile section of the Lincoln Highway is celebrated between Abbottstown and Irwin as one of the Commonwealth's Heritage Areas.
