Yes we have a famous battlefield to tour by car, bicycle, horseback, and even on foot but we boast a wealth of activities beyond those historic acres.
From historic taverns to ethnic cuisine, farm-to-table dining to unique edibles, the tastes of Gettysburg are sure to please every palate.
With adventures to suit every budget, Gettysburg and Adams County businesses offer plenty of packages to help visitors create their dream vacations.
Cure that cabin fever with a camping trip to King's Campground, an 84 acre campground with 72 campsites owned by the Jacobs Brothers Evangelistic Association. We are located along Route 15 near Dillsburg, between Gettysburg and Hershey. The King's Campground seeks to provide camping facilities and events in a Christian, family-friendly environment.
King's Campground offers frisbee golf, shuffleboard, basketball, softball, volleyball, horseshoes, an outdoor swimming pool, and a kid's playground area. Cozy up to our bonfire pit in the evening and enjoy live musical entertainment in the warmer months. Our walking trails offer beautiful views of our natural surroundings - you may even spot deer or turkeys.
Campers will enjoy a heated bathhouse and picnic pavilion. We are perfect for a quiet, relaxed getaway.
Your group can take advantage of our Concert Pavilion with seating for over 600. We also offer kitchen facilities for rent and a small dining hall with seating for 40. Plan your rustic wedding in our barn, or have your next family reunion in our picnic pavilion.
