Located upon the very grounds of the Union Artillery Reserve of the Gettysburg Campaign, and conveniently adjoining Gettysburg’s battlegrounds, Artillery Ridge is the perfect camping location from which to experience the richness of this historical region.
We offer a full range of camping sites as well as horse stabling facilities. Individual secluded tent sites and large open tenting grounds with an outdoor dishwashing facility are available for your selection. Our various rental facilities include western themed primitive cabins and full service cabins as well as RV and trailer rentals. 30 and 50 amp campsites include group camping areas for your convenience. All sites offer a picnic table and fire ring. We have several heated restroom and bath house facilities. Our family oriented campground offers a camp store complete with groceries, novelties, souvenirs, camp and RV supplies including firewood and ice as well as Americana collectibles and horse collectibles and necessitates. Group rates available.
Themed weekends, organized activities and entertainment are provided for our guests as well as several playgrounds including volleyball, basketball, and horse shoe pits. An in ground swimming pool, a game room including billiards, a movie room, and stocked catch and release fishing pond are all available for your camping pleasure. Historic Gettysburg horse, bus and tape tours as well as Washington DC tours can be arranged through our admission staff.
Camp stay includes free admission to Gettysburg Diorama and Spirits of Gettysburg with the option to take advantage of reduced admission tickets to the Lincoln Train Museum, Sunday through Thursday discounts with the National Riding Stables and 10% discount at General Picket’s Buffet.
