DEC 14
This program brings to life the events which occurred in this Civil War hospital when 140 wounded and dying soldiers were sheltered in this beautiful church during and after the Battle of Gettysburg. The presentation includes live Civil War era music with sing-a-longs, readings from a citizen nurse and soldiers who served and were treated in this historic building and the reading of poetry which captures the emotion and pathos of this tragic period of our history. As you enter the program, you will be given the name of an actual soldier who was treated at Christ Church. At the end of the performance, you can check a listing to find out your soldier's fate - did he survive or not.
