Places Through Time Living History, Inc. will offer a very special American Girl Doll Tea for girls ages 6 – 12 at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast. The tea will be held in the air-conditioned solarium of the bed and breakfast, and one lucky girl will go home with her own American Girl Doll.
This special afternoon tea will consist of three courses (scones, sandwiches and desserts) specially chosen with young ladies in mind as well as pink lemonade and two teas. Of course, grown-ups are invited, too, if they are accompanied by a young girl.
This is a dress up tea, and girls are invited to wear something special and bring their own doll along to enjoy the afternoon. The program will focus on the clothing girls wore in the 1860s, as well as a short lesson in tea etiquette.
The cost of the tea is $35 per person, and every ticket includes a chance to win your very own American Girl Doll. Seating is limited, and it is suggested that groups wishing to be seated together make reservations as early as possible to guarantee preferred seating. Deadline for reservations is March 26. For information or reservations contact Myra Reichart at email@example.com or 717-398-2684.
