The Wind Symphony is the premier wind and percussion ensemble in the Sunderman Conservatory of Music. Conducted by Director of Bands Dr. Russell McCutcheon and comprised of a select group of 40-50 musicians, the ensemble rehearses and performs some of the best new literature and wind band masterworks in four major concerts each year. The Wind Symphony is designed for the development of the professional performer, the professional educator and the dedicated musician.
Sunderman Chamber Conservatory of Music Series - Free ticket with Gettysburg College ID; each patron must have a ticket to attend any performance at the Majestic Theater. Although tickets are free for some events, tickets must be obtained for every event at the Majestic Theater.
Tickets are $5 per person, free for children 18 and under & those with Gettysburg College ID. Tickets can be purchased online, by calling the box office at 717-337-8200 or in person. Box office hours are Monday-Saturday, Noon-7:30pm and Sunday 1-5:30pm.
